A: When your present web hosting provider can no longer fulfill the demands of your website, or if you go through frequent network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the support staff to get back to you, it may be a smart idea to switch your hosting provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your websites as well as your databases from your current provider to your new provider. At HyperPage Hosting, we are aware that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. That’s why we’ll do all that for you for free!Our highly experienced technical team will move your web site content from your current hosting provider to us. Our techs have got plenty of experience with web site migration and can take care of anything – from a customary WordPress–powered weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–powered site, to a very complex, custom–built app.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time interval, because there are many variables, including the physical size of the files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your website and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our very best to migrate your site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (when the content is not large).

A: We’ll need the login information for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel and the site’s name (domain name).

A: Our Privacy Policy is an indivisible part of the contract that we’ll have with you as a customer. We’re committed to protecting the safety of the private details gathered from the customers. To accomplish this, we use technical security measures to avoid the loss, the misapplication, the alteration or the unlawful leakage of the private info under our control. The safety measures include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and administrative methods to safeguard and secure the information that we collect online. When we request clients to present financial information (such as a credit card number), this info is masked using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

A: Nope. Your website will remain available online during the transfer. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll tell you so that you can examine it and check for any problems. If everything’s okay, all you will need to do is modify your domain’s DNS resource records.

A: While we move your content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We won’t contact them in any way.

A: Yeah. We support all conventional Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven hosting platforms, since we do not offer Windows web hosting services ourselves.Additionally, we do not support proprietary website creation and administration user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
